Here’s to a fun and festive week!
Over the past two weeks, OMS 8th graders have participated in boaters safety courses hosted by Missouri Highway Patrol officers. So many new licenses were earned from this important course in our area.
Boater safety is a top priority in our community, and we’re grateful for our partnership with the Missouri Highway Patrol to provide this valuable resource to our students! They even took the time to have some fun with our students in their down time. Check them out playing kickball!
Congratulations to Miss Dickerson’s 5th grade class for winning the Attendance Spirit Stick for the first time! Last week this class had the highest attendance percentage.
Members of the Upper Elementary Student Leadership club raised money for Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association by selling bracelets and bows at the holiday bazaar over the weekend.
The Osage Honors Club recently hosted a penny war to raise funds for Christmas gifts for the Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association. Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our students and staff, they collected an impressive $475!
We are so proud of our students for their commitment to making a difference in our community this holiday season.
Yesterday, Judge Aaron Koeppen visited Mr. Zilz's dual-credit government class to teach about Missouri’s local courts. It was an engaging and informative session for our students!
Thank you, Judge Koeppen, for sharing your time and expertise with us!

Students from Mrs. Hill’s anatomy class shared their stories on cells, cell organelles, and cell transports with our third grade readers. 📚 🔬
We’re thrilled to announce that Ethan Worley has been named one of the Lake Career & Technical Center’s November Students of the Month!
Ethan, a senior, is a second-year Advanced Criminal Justice student and a proud member of SkillsUSA Missouri.
His instructor, Chris Edgar, shared this about him:
"Ethan is a mature and resourceful top student who consistently thinks outside the box. He is well-liked by both students and teachers, and everyone enjoys collaborating with him. Ethan is one of the hardest workers I have ever had in class, and he will continue to excel in any future career or academic pursuits."
Congratulations, Ethan!
'Tis the season to be thankful! A few of our fifth-grade students visited local law enforcement to share their gratitude (and cookies!). We’re so thankful for their support and partnership with our schools!
