Bazaar

The hallmarks of a Lake of the Ozarks holiday season are upon us: Central Bank’s Santa lights, snowflakes lining Osage Beach Pkwy, the Christmas parade on the strip, and the School of the Osage Holiday Bazaar, amongst many more. With two weeks remaining in the semester, the 43rd annual Holiday Bazaar was hosted this past Saturday by the High School Osage Family Partnership. Featuring homemade crafts, snacks, Santa and more, the Bazaar was once again a success. Wandering the aisles, one couldn’t help but be amazed at the talent that lies in the hands of the participating individuals and local businesses.

This holiday season brings warmth amidst the cold. When so much as going outside looks daunting, when all we want to do is isolate, there is always something leading us to join our community in celebration of the season. The Bazaar, the Senior Citizens Banquet, and the Trunk-or-Treat are all results of this need: to simply come together. May we continue these wonderful traditions for years and continue to come together as a district to fight the winter blues and to support each other in the cold seasons of life.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays,

SOTO Student Insiders

A HUGE thank you to our local community for coming out and supporting our school and local businesses at the 43rd Annual Holiday Bazaar hosted by the Osage Family Partnership High School Tribe. We had almost 1200 shoppers attend and over 120 vendors participate! We’d also like to thank the following businesses for donating products or services to the Bazaar or for helping advertise the event… HyVee, Pappo’s, Benne Media, Lamar, and Lake Sun. We would also like to give a big shout out to our many volunteers including Boy Scout Troop 21, Osage Football and Soccer players, Project Grad, Don Savage and the custodial crew, Kim Whittle and the Osage Food Service, and the many other student and parent volunteers who helped with set up, admissions, concessions, and clean up. The funds raised from this event go to support our OHS students and staff via scholarships, impact grants, and other projects. Thank you again for making this a fun and successful event!!
