The holiday season tends to remind people about the importance of giving and supporting your fellow neighbor and that was on full display this past Monday (December 11) at School of the Osage. Staff members, represented across all buildings and departments, utilized their personal talents and networking skills to help give back to the Lake of the Ozarks Idiots Club. Over 90 items were created or donated by SOTO employees, as well as generous donations from local businesses at the silent & live auctions. For example, an employee had the opportunity to buy a dozen of delicious cinnamon rolls from the kitchen staff, purchase an Osage t-shirt quilt, and reserve a cabin for a two night stay in the heart of Missouri wine country.
So far this year, the Lake of the Ozarks Idiot's Club has spent $31,727.13 on School of the Osage students with 1,265 assists. The local charity group donates over $100,000 annually to lake are students in need.
