Senior Sunrise

Sixty-eight total students arrived before 6:00 a.m. on the football field with donuts and coffee in hand on the first day of school on the morning of August 22nd. They were hoping to catch a sunrise and bond as a class before kicking off their final year of High School.  The fog and humidity didn't allow for a sunrise but it did make for a memorable morning for the class of 2024.  "It was so cool to see seniors, who didn't even need to be at school until 3rd hour, filtering into the high school parking lot at 5:50 a.m. excited to kick off their senior year" explained counselor Kaylee Miner,  "They asked me to supervise but this event was completely planned by them."

A quote that was a theme for the morning and shared by the class was: "A new school year means new beginnings, new adventures, new friendships, and new challenges. The slate is clean and anything can happen." - Denise Witmer.
