School of the Osage is proud to announce the hiring of Dr. Amy St John as Executive Director of Student Services. A graduate of Malden High School, Dr. St John earned her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Education from Missouri State University.  She also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Park University and Specialist degree in Secondary Administration from Northwest Missouri State University and her Doctorate (Ph.D.) in School Administration from Lindenwood University.

     Dr. St. John is currently the Director of Performance Analytics for Springfield Public Schools (SPS), the largest school district in the State of Missouri, where she has held that position for the past five years. Dr. St. John was on the ground floor of the design of Launch -- the virtual school option which currently has an enrollment of over 16,000 students from 300 school districts around the state.  Furthermore, Dr. St. John’s depth of knowledge has allowed her to help inform the development of MSIP 6 metrics, develop the SPS district dashboard, and work extensively with SPS administrators to build leadership capacity.

     Prior to her tenure at SPS, Dr. St. John held various positions in the North Kansas City School District, including three years as the Director of the District’s Career and Technical Education Center. Dr. St. John began her career in education as a business teacher at Winnetonka High School.
