What a day for OHS Competitive Speech! 10 students competed at districts, and 9 went to finals in 10 events. Four students will be representing Osage at State Competition. 

• Abby Newhart in Prose - 2nd Place
• Caleb Klaus in Humorous Interpretation - 3rd Place
• Abby and Caleb in Duo Interpretation - 2nd place
• Ava Maupin and Jaidyn Tabony in Duet Acting - 2nd Place

Not competing at state but still placing in finals:

• Audrey Williams - 6th Place, Storytelling
• Taylor Lasater - 4th Place, Poetry Reading
• Karissa Whyte- 6th Place, Informative Speaking 
• Nate Stombaugh- 5th Place, International Extemp
• Dex English- 5th Place, US Extemp 
• Abby Newhart- 4th Place, Radio Speaking

With all these students in finals and going to state, the OHS Competitive speech team also got 2nd Place in sweepstakes!!
