Connecting with others can look different for everyone.

Here are some ideas to get you started…

  1. Take a walk together and use the conversation starters to have some connection with each other
  2. Cook dinner together and use the conversation starters to connect while you cook
  3. When in the car shuttling from one activity to the next, put phones in the glove box and use the conversation starters
  4. Have dinner together and use the conversation starters to connect at the table

Be a part of the movement to increase the number of Mental Health First Aiders in Missouri for Mental Health
Awareness Month. Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of
mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
 

Courses are only open to those who live/work in Missouri. The course is valued at $170 per person, but is being provided to you at no cost by Missouri’s Department of Mental Health.
