After graduation in May, Molly Keim will attend the University of Missouri in Columbia.  She will major in business with a minor in political science and philosophy.  Her dream is to own her own law firm.  Molly has wanted to be a lawyer since sophomore year when she was a student in Mr Zilz’s Dual Credit Government class.  Her interest was fueled into a driving passion due to attending Girls’ State where she was a lawyer in a mock trial.  Eventually Molly would like to live on the west coast but travel as much as possible.

While at School of the Osage High School, Molly was in NHS, Spanish Club and DECA, a club that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.  She is our chapter’s president and the District 5 Vice President (which presides over 12 other schools).

Molly would like to give a shout out to Mr Baker as her favorite teacher.  “He has supported me, both inside and outside of class, with DECA and other courses.  He has raised the standard to which I hold myself.”  Molly’s advice to other students: “Choose who you surround yourself with very carefully.  The environment you place yourself in will either build you up or tear you down.”  Molly, that is good advice for all of us, not just students!

Good luck with your dreams as they will take you far with your work ethic and determination.  Molly, we are sad to see you go, but happy to see you succeed!
