Band Updates

The band has had a very busy awesome couple of weeks.  We just wanted to let you all know about some of our successes the kids have had. We are so proud of the students!!!

On October 9th the Osage Marching Indians traveled to the Ozarko Marching Band festival. The Marching Indians won Third Place in the Silver Division 

On October 12th we took several students to Rolla High School to All District Band and All District Jazz Band Auditions.  Here is a list of students that made the All District Band and are eligible for All State:

Superintendent's Update for October 20th

Dear School of the Osage Students, Families, and Community-
 
We have a big week coming up in the world of school- to- home communication. As you know, strong two-way communication between the classroom and families matters tremendously. That said, as anyone who has ever played phone tag knows, sometimes it can be really difficult to pull off a great connection. We have two intentional strategies to minimize frustration and bolster these important connections. 

34th Annual Senior Citizens' Banquet

School of the Osage’s National Honor Society would like to invite all senior citizens to the 34th Annual Senior Citizens' Banquet on Thursday, November 18th. The evening will consist of Musical Performances by the Osage High School Jazz Band, Les Chanteurs, Girls Glee, and the Osage Upper Elementary Choralettes beginning at 4:45PM. The performances will be followed by dinner served at 6:00PM. The attendees are then invited to All Shook Up, presented by the Osage High School Drama Department at 7:00PM.

Girls Golf at State

Congratulations to Hanna Maschhoff and Sophia Sindlinger on a successful State Tournament.  Hanna finished with a two day total of 151 (74,81) earning her the silver medal at State, just 4 strokes off of 1st place. Sophia finished with a two day score of 168 (86,82), earning her 6th place out of the field of 79 golfers.
