Mission statement

School of the Osage, a progressive and growing school system, draws its name from the nearby Osage River and the Indians who once lived in the area. The district enrollment of approximately 1900 includes a K-2 elementary school, an upper elementary (3-5), a middle school (6-8), and high school. The schools and students of School of the Osage have received numerous awards in athletic, academic, and music competitions.

Bagnell Dam near our original School site was completed in 1931 and is owned and operated by Ameren-MO. Bagnell Dam creates the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks.
