Welcome to another year of Osage Wrestling! This year joining Coach Satterlee and Coach Fuglsang will be Coach Brock Ezard.  Coach Ezard will be a great addition to our program, working primarily as the girls coach. All of the coaches are excited for our upcoming season as we will be building from last year’s success.

Last season the Indians tallied a 13-4 dual season record.  We had 5 All-Conference wrestlers and Chase Cordia earned the All-Conference MVP. The Osage team performed extremely well in Districts with Chase Cordia leading the way as a District champ and Ryan Schepers, Rudy Escobar, and Jackson Creasy following up as District runner-ups.  The Indians represented Osage at last year’s State tournament with 6 State qualifiers:  Ryan Schepers - 132, Eric Westbrook - 138, Chase Cordia - 170, Rudy Escobar - 182, Jack Creasy - 195, and Abbey Cordia - 130 on the Girls side.  The wrestlers managed a 3rd, two 4th, a 5th place finish with Chase Cordia as our first State Champ!   The team finished 6th in the state overall in Class 2.

This year we have a great group of wrestlers returning, as well as the addition of some very solid light weight underclassmen.    The Indians this year have experienced senior leadership in Mason Dulle and Jackson Creasy .  These two have been wrestling in our programs since before middle school and bring with them a wealth of “on the mat” experience.    From 106 to 285, exciting wrestling will come from our entire lineup.  We are excited about our competitive freshman core of wrestlers, as well as a tough group of upperclassmen.  It’s going to be an exciting season! We as coaches thank you for your support – GO INDIANS!
